The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued guidelines on Fair Practices Code for Non-Banking Financial Company-P2P (NBFCs) thereby setting standards for fair business and corporate practices while dealing with their customers vide it’s Master Directions "Non-Banking Financial Company" Peer to Peer Lending Platform (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2017 dated October 4, 2017.

The objective of FPC includes :-
To safeguard the interests of customers and ensure fair treatment in all aspects of their interactions with Moneymela, including transparent communication, fair pricing, and protection of their personal and financial information.
To maintain transparency in all our processes, empowering customers to have a comprehensive understanding of terms and conditions of the products and services offered by the company.
To adhere to high ethical standards and promote responsible lending and borrowing practices. This includes avoiding predatory practices, providing clear and accurate information, and maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including those set forth by regulatory authorities such as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) or other relevant bodies. This includes maintaining proper documentation, reporting, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.
To promptly and transparently address customer grievances and concerns, Moneymela has established a dedicated grievance redressal mechanism to resolve issues raised by customers in a fair and timely manner, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction with a better TAT.
The FPC will be applicable to the following broad areas :-
Loan applications and processing thereof
Loan appraisal and terms/conditions
Disbursement of loans including changes, if any, in terms and conditions
Post disbursement supervision/monitoring and recovery

Moneymela has implemented a Grievance Redressal Mechanism policy to ensure the prompt resolution of customer complaints and grievances within a stipulated TAT. To enhance value and relevance for borrowers and lenders, the Board of Directors of Moneymela will conduct an annual review to ensure compliance with the Fair Practice Code adopted by the Board.
